Wilton Method Instruction

I am a Wilton Method Instructor and teach an array of courses each month at Michael’s Arts and Crafts in Pelham Manor, New York. Classes are structured as a four week courses.  They meet one a week for 2 hours. 

Courses Offered:

Course One: Learn  the fundamentals. of basic cake decorating tecniques that include how to make the famous Wilton Rose.

Fondant and Gum Paste: Learn advanced Fondant Techniques, gum paste flowers, and appliques, and much more! Pre-requisite Course One.

Course Two: This course builds on Skills learned in Course One.  Learn borders, more flowers and basketweaving.  Pre-requisite Course One.

Course Three: Learn to Decorate Tiered cakes, work with Fondant, Make 3-D flowers and more.  Pre-requisite Courses One and Two.

In addition I suppliment the class schedule with various project classses, kids classes, and demonstrations.  Private classes for small groups or organizations are also possible. 

 

Scheduling and Registration:

The schedule for month is made available approximately at the middle of the current month.  For example the August class schedule is available July 15th. 

Though it is acceptable to miss class if necessary, students must be available to attend the first class.  Making up a missed class is possible in most cases by making arrangements with your instructor.

Students are eligible to recieve a 10% discount on all supplies needed for class.  Simply show your reciept of class registration when checking out.

Registration is available in-person at the store’s checkout area.  Simply ask your cashier to register for the class you are interested in.  To check the current schedule and if space is available in any class at Michael’s in Pelham Manor please call 914.235.2730.  Press 4 to speak with an associate.
